Travel

I have visited wine regions on 3 continents, everything from the most unknown to the most heralded wine producers. If there is one thing that ties them all together, it is passion. Passion for wine and the people that make it. You can immediately pick it up in the first few sentences of conversation with a winemaker or vigneron. It’s an electric energy when it comes to talking about all things wine.

Each country and wine region has different customs when it comes to accepting visitors. Some roll out the red carpet, some won’t reply to your emails or phone calls. With some advice and personal connections, I can help you plan a trip or do the planning for you, no matter the custom. We also offer advice on where to stay and where or what to eat.

Did you know in South Africa many of the wineries there offer accommodations to their guests? Italy has some of this as well and it is more common in some of the more popular regions around the world. These little nuggets are sometimes the difference between a good trip and an unforgettable trip!
